Today’s #essentialexersise sketchbook page. I was able to walk in the lovely sunshine alone today, a rarity for me with my agoraphobia and I’m so grateful to Jesus for His care and love. It was also really nice to get time on my own with having everyone home at the moment. I love my family and I tell little S regularly that I’m glad he’s home but it is exhausting and I’m grateful that Jesus understands even if no one else does 😊. If you are tired today guys that’s ok, if you aren’t that’s ok too if you are overwhelmed that’s ok, it doesn’t mean you aren’t making the most of your time or that you are being ungrateful because we can be tired, overwhelmed, anxious and see the positives too 😊 God bless! #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #Jesusunderstands #getyourexersise

Last week I spent too much time inside and it did my mental health no good. I’ve been encouraged to go for the local walks that we are allowed to do. So I decided to encourage me I will look for something to draw in my sketchbook. First week of school at home done. When I found out that we had to stay home, I’ll admit I panicked. I spent 7 years cut off from the world, and the thought of going back to that terrified me. But The Lord eased my fears and now one week in I can say that I’ve talked to some family members more than I have in years. I have been overwhelmed by the support and care people are showing one another, especially those of us who have needed resources to help our children keep learning. In all this I am keeping my eyes for on my lighthouse, my Lord Jesus.
